I begin to photograph at 16 years old. I made a course of Photography in the Academic Association of Coimbra in 1981. From that time I have been participating in collective exhibitions in several rooms and galleries of the whole country; awarded in many national and international contests of photography; several works published in Portuguese and French magazines of photography, travel magazines (with texts and images), books and catalogues of travel agencies. Member of juries in contests of photography and a member of websites of photography national and foreign, where my portfolios can be visited. In January 2009 I presented an individual exhibition of photography “Trip to a small world ” (Viagem a um pequeno mundo) to invitation of the Town Hall of Leiria, in the Theater José Lúcio da Silva. The same exhibition was presented in Lisbon, in May 2009, in the Teatro de Carnide Bar. First price in french PHOTO Magazine 2010 in the great International Amateurs Contest: "Votre perception du design".
