Marie Montoya the Entrepreneur and the model is a hometown favorite in Washington DC. Currently residing just outside of the city limits in Ft. Washington MD, Marie Montoya immerses herself into what she considers her hobbies of interest which include but are not limited to designing, writing, movies, modeling, and traveling. At the height of 5’6, weighing in at a petite but curvaceous 110 lbs, Marie Montoya is sitting pretty with the measurements of 32, 24, 35. Her interest involve one of her new career endeavors which is acting. For Marie acting and modeling go hand in hand, allowing her to be the chameleon that many have come to love and admire both in front and behind the camera. When Marie was asked what made her want to model her response was priceless, “ I absolutely love the fashion industry and everything about it. The trends, the marketing aspect, branding, and the people! All these things have been consistently calling my name year after year, so I have made it my mission to answer when the fashion industry comes knocking! I’m ready … I was born ready!” It is because of Marie Montoyas’ quick wit, street smarts, and book smarts that has allowed her to excel not only as an African American female entrepreneur, but as an African American female model as well.
