Mark Von Holden is a New York City based portrait, editorial, and corporate assignment photographer. Over the past decade, he has captured some of the world's most respected leaders, artist, and dignitaries while on assignment for clients and magazines. For over 5 years, he worked as a staff photographer with DMI, one of New York City's original high profile entertainment photo agencies. In 2005, DMI merged with Wireimage and eventually Getty Images where, working as a staff photographer, Mark continued to provide his tailored creativity and work ethic to capture some of New York's most high profile people, events, galas, news coverage, and award shows for the wide gamut of Wireimage's clientele. After 7 years as a staffer, Mark Von Holden Photography was created to provide the experience and expertise that clients came to expect from his work. Mark has earned his clients' trust and respect by injecting his passion, humor, creative perspective, and years of experience into every image he creates, while always maintaining quality above everything for his many varied assignments. Currently, Mark is an assignment photographer and also works on a weekly basis with the Associated Press and Invision by the Associated Press. In addition Mark has done assignment work with the Hollywood Reporter, New York Post, OK Magazine, Variety, Fast Company, Entertainment Weekly, and the LA Times to name a few. "Photography is a discipline that captures the pulse of light and emotion in a split second. In that moment, I love to share the life and energy dancing before me in a portrait or moment of time which is the essence of creativity to me. When not shooting Mark can be found surfing in the Rockaways or traveling with his beautiful photographer wife around the world. They live with their two kids, Great Bernese dog, and fierce cat in Brooklyn. Mark is available for assignments world wide or for a portrait session in his studio located in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
