Hello there. I'm Nikola Tamindzic, New York-based fashion & portrait photographer, contributor to The New Yorker, Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Nylon, and New York magazine, profiled in The New York Times, National Georgaphic, PHOTO Paris, and The British Journal of Photography, among others.

What is Fucking New York all about? Animal New York described it as:

“Sometimes you just want to grab hold of those buildings, throw yourself at the sidewalk and ugh, ugh, ohhh. Photographer Nikola Tamindzic’s newest project is about fucking New York, that powerful appreciation for whatever it is that makes you tolerate this city’s many flaws and fuck-ups, that love manifesting itself physically as a series of poised sexual abstractions. It helps that Nikola’s photos are always beautiful. He makes pressing your breasts at a window look eloquent, enchanting. Hmm. Hmmmm. Hmmmmmm.”

There's nudity involved, absolutely, so I'm assuming you have an exhibitionistic streak! In which case, you are welcome to join, regardless of gender, race, height or body type.

As for compensation, I want to be upfront: my commercial clients pay for my commercial work, which leaves my art & editorial work is collaborative. Hopefully, both of us have a way of benefitting from working together, and if there are any sales made from photos we made together (such as art prints), then we share the profits. If that works for you, I'd be happy to tell exactly how it works.

NOTE FOR AGENCY MODELS: If you are a fashion model signed with an agency, feel free to get in touch for fashion work and tests — having an agency is a must.
