Hay all. I am a semi-professional photographer recently graduated from NC State. I have been shooting for the better part of three years and have done a lot of paid work, but I am here mainly to improve my skills and expand my portfolio.

The majority of my work is journalism where my only goal is to portray the reality of an event in an emotionally-evoking fashion. And as interesting as I find it, I want to delve into what could be, the abstract and what is (metaphorically) within us.

I know my way around the studio, but I shy away from relying on artificial light. I prefer working with existing light combined with some fill if needed. The quality of the ambient light is always more satisfying to me than a strobe.

As far as the style I am interested in, I am completely open. Excepting performance art of the painful variety. I want to try a lot of different things, but I have a weak stomach.
