Growing up, I always had a love for make-up and was continuously trying new techniques on family, friends and myself. When I realized I could extend my passion to others, I soon pursued my career in professional make-up artistry and launched Flawless by JM.

To ensure my education was top-notch, I sought the best make-up artistry schools & training. I attended MUD (Makeup Designory) and also participated in workshops at Rouge Makeup Studio, both located in New York City.

Prior to gaining experience in the make-up industry, I attended Rider University and graduated with a BA in radio & television broadcasting. Upon graduating, I utilized my production skills by producing & directing various video and photography projects for both television studios and private companies. In developing and directing these productions, I was able to work with many professionals including make-up artists.

During this time, I truly found myself admiring the work of the make-up artists on set. They had the ability to turn plain and pretty into bold and beautiful with just a flick of a brush. My interest was sparked and I knew that it was something I too needed to explore on a professional level.

Today, I incorporate my knowledge as a producer “behind the camera” into my practices as a make-up artist. I believe that by having the ability to blend both areas of expertise, it allows me to cater to and understand each client’s needs (whether television, photography, or bridal oriented).
