I am an aspiring fashion designer. I have been hand sewing for eleven years, machine sewing for nine years, pattern drafting for three years. My short-term goals are to 1) make my presence known' 2) gain more experience in the fashion industry "hopefully obtain a position in a prominent fashion house such as Chanel"; 3) expand my business. My long-term goals are to establish my own line, become a cult brand and a known presence in the fashion community. I would like to achieve mass connections, gain opportunities as well as expansion from this site.

I became interested in fashion and all phases of art at an early age. My great grandmother taught me how to hand sew and with that knowledge, I was hand-sewing dolls clothes by the age eleven. By age thirteen, I had made my first denim skirt, couture-style, and my family decided I was ready for my first sewing machine. I attended the Detroit School of Performing Arts as well as Crockett Technical High School for illustration in which I discovered my true love for fashion and fashion sketching, it seemed to be all I wanted to was illustrate.

During my high school years, I had established a home business, concentrating on pleasing my peers with garments that corresponded to fads and trends such as sport jersey’s transformed into dresses, skirts, shorts, etc., also the boyfriend dress (over-sized men button-up shirts in the form of women dresses).

My designs are inspired by classic women’s styling and intelligent tailoring of the early 1930s through the mid-20 century, other inspirations also include the Edwardian & Victorian Era, literature, playwrights, fairytales & folktales, different movements in Art History such as the Classical Era, the Baroque & Rococo period, the Age of Enlightment, Neoclassical, and other inspirations are derived from Ancient Rome, Greece, Italy and Egypt. We believe that each garment at B. Massanotti Design House is a work of art that will inspire designers of the future and a trademark of our era. Welcome to the Inspiration of Art.

B. Massanotti Design House was created with the idea in mind that women want to feel confident, unique and sexy in their garments, while an existence of style, sleekness and sophistication is exuded. I also believe in exclusivity, which is why my garments are one-of-a-kind pieces but very tasteful and elegant. It is my determination to make every woman see the Bella Donna inside of herself by building confidence and appeal with my lovely fun pieces.
