Update: Winner in MM Picture Of The Day November 24, 2010 :))


Hi, my name is Joel and I love to take photos! I'm keen on most aspects of photography but I'm getting quite a thrill out of people photos at the moment.

My main goal through MM is to collaborate with others to create images that spark an interest, pique curiosity and tell a story. Experimentation and improvisation I believe are key to this.

Secondary goals are to continually learn, evolve and interact with a creative community.



FAQ's:

1. Payment or TF*?

For my services: I'm happy to work TF* with somebody that I feel adds something to my portfolio or for shoots with interesting themes.
For models: I'd prefer the majority of models to work TF* but for the right model if travel is required I'm happy to help meet or cover costs. Will consider modelling payment in rare situations.
For others: same consideration as models, but I'm less likely to need your services.

2. What sort of images and themes do I want to pursue?

* low-key black and white with nude or implied
* fairy's, pixies, etc
* tattoos, rockabilly and hot rods
* industrial and abandoned scenes

Digital pics are great but I still used film a lot. I have a number of vintage cameras and just love working with them...

3. What gender/age/body type will I work with?

All.

4. What resources do I have available?

Glad you asked. I'm on a rural property 1km from the beach with a small studio, tractors, lilly filled ponds, dams and all manner of animals plus a house full of curiosities used for props. Within 15 minutes drive there's all manner of beaches, headlands, abandoned farm housees, stunning mountain vistas, Coffs Jetty and marina and abandoned railway stations.
