Tensei Sugahara is a Tokyo-based artist, performance artist, and model. He works within many genres but specializes in theatrical, gothic, fetish, and dramatic looks.

He is available for bookings as model or performance artist (body painting shows).

Paid work is preferred but will do TFP for the right photographers that can improve his portfolio. However keep in mind he is in the USA to work so paid assignments are always given priority(currently lives in Tokyo).

Rates vary depending on the project, but are reasonable.

Bio:

He was born as a descendant of a Samurai family.
From his earliest recollections, he saw monsters with human skins.
He always investigated how he should act beautifully with human rule, psychology, how he should move perfectly with nature's rule, physics in sports. In his world, he played with blocks, mini dolls and cards with his own rules, and they are different every time.
He got many prizes in various creative activities, especially in Calligraphy, paintings and arts without rules.
He started to educate his vocal skill by himself, but the Theatre fascinated him. So he started to play in a drama club in his high school. Then he always acted heroes, and for his last play in the club, he wrote a script and acted a hero in his complicated parallel worlds.
After that, he started to write Japanese poems with his unique world and taste in words naturally. He also performed poetry in bars and gigged with his band in his university. He joined student government and worked for order and festivals, but he already despaired of school days, so focused on creation, love and overseas. He made some journeys to Europe and started to write English poems.
And now, he makes paintings with Calligraphy technique and exhibits them, and performs body-painting shows in major events in Tokyo, or take photographs as both a photographer and a model. He also loves to collaborate with various artists. His life is for love and creation.
