About Me

My interest in beauty started back in the day, when my tiny white-knuckled hands grasped for dear life on the rim of a putrid yellow sink as my mother styled my hair. She believed in the power of outer beauty – everything had to look on point, there were no little frizzes or bumps allowed in her hairstyles. With my hair pulled tight and polished, there was no way her little girl looked out of line.

Every morning I wailed, “Mom, it hurts soooo much!”

She only laughed and said, “Well too bad, that’s the price you pay for beauty.”

My mother taught me that it’s really the little things that count. Since then, beauty has always been an important part of my life. Helping people feel good about themselves is a heartfelt experience for me. Everyday I am motivated to get up, knowing I can make someone feel beautiful or put a little more pep in their step, and each person in my chair is a welcome guest. I love the way people’s attitude can change after their beauty has been slightly altered.

I have always been into colors and shapes, and graduated from Gene Juarez Academy in 2010. I love working at FoxyCut because there is never a dull moment! Our guests are diverse, so I am constantly challenged and exposed to new techniques. We have a lot of fun and laugh throughout the day, which keeps me energized. My focus right now is to learn more about men’s design and in-depth color blocking, which I love because it adds a lot of dimension and movement without damaging the hair.

I also have done Make-up for Fashion Shows, Photo shoots, and Weddings.
