Tameka Shola was born on the 14th July 1993, in South East London and is currently studying Childcare at college. Modelling has always been a dream of mine and from a very young age i always posed in front of the camera and enjoyed getting dressed up. I didnt know much about how to get involved with modelling so i asked a friend and they told me to make a model mayhem account (http://www.modelmayhem.com/tamekashola), shortly after creating this account i was messaged by diferent photographers interested in shooting me, which led me to begin on my portfolio.

I also started looking at modelling competitions - i entered one called 'Teen Queen' which i got into the final and had a makeover and photoshoot done. Also 'Top Model UK' - which i got into the semi final but did not make it to the final, i still gained alot of knowledge on the modelling industry also tips and advice on how to catwalk.

I continued to get asked for more work from my account on modelmayhem - Model Mayhem helped me build a portfolio and network with other models, photographers, makeup artists, retouchers, stylists, designers and many other incredible people.

Overtime ive become more confident with modelling and am able to take part in a wide range of different style shoots, which is postive and will help me improve in the future.

Loads of people say i should do modelling and it has always been my dream therefore i want to pursue it and hopefully join a good agency in London.

At the moment I am looking to complete my portfolio so that I can show this to more agencies and hopefully get work. Whenever i have a shoot i put 100% effort into it and make sure i achieve shots to the best of my ability.
