A few things I must add (after some of my first interactions):

I do not do nudes. It's not because I'm self conscious. I love my body and love having photographs taken of it. But since I have been married, I have decided to keep them private. It is non-negotiable. If you want to take nude shots of me, I'm not going to think you're just a skeevy perv who just wants to see me naked. If I see your port and know you're a professional, I will respectfully and professionally decline your offer (if your entire port is nudes, I will assume that is your interest), but leave the door open to working with you on other projects. There is no need to get offended or nasty. We're professionals, so let's keep it that way.

I do not pay for shoots.

I will want to bring an escort to almost every shoot. It's not going to be someone who's going to try to involve themselves in the shoot. It's not because I'm self-important and think I need an entourage. I consider myself a professional artist. I also like to have fun with my art. If it's not fun, what's the point? So, I don't take myself (or anyone else) too seriously. It is simply, because I'm a young woman in New York City, and who knows what's out there? I like to have fun, but I also play it safe.
