About Me

From the age of ten, Jenna Webb exhibited a strong love and connection with music. Whether singing in the shower or performing at school talent shows, Jenna knew that this is what she wanted to do.
When she turned sixteen, Jenna was a top finalist in the city of Escondido’s Amateur Night at the Apollo Theatre, where she performed Alicia Keys, ”Fallin,” receiving a standing ovation from thirteen hundred screaming guests, without a boo in the house! Jenna continued to perform as often as possible, polishing her skills and exposing her natural god given talent. These many experiences were instrumental in building her confidence to move on with what was to inevitably come.
In 2005, Jenna auditioned for Mtv’s show ,” Making the Band 3,” with Sean Diddy Combs. Surviving numerous cuts in every round, Jenna was then asked to fly to New York to compete in a National competition. Upon Jenna’s arrival to New York, she unfortunately lost her voice, unable to compete to her full advantage. Not being able to sing, Jenna was sent home. Jenna’s experience in New York did not upset her, but did spark a change. It fueled her passion to succeed even further, and gave her the determination to continue pursuing what she loved.
In 2006, Jenna made a three song demo, with songs that include; “Do you know,“ “Drifting,“ and “It Kills Me.” Now with recording experience, Jenna was ready to face anything that came her way. Jenna met many people through the process of recording in the studio, which would ultimately give her more opportunities in the future.
Although the studio was almost two hours away, Jenna took every chance she could to make her way there, where she could learn more, surrounding herself with industry professionals, planning to gain experience in the music world.
Not long after Jenna started spending time “in studio,” other’s started to take notice. Jenna was asked to sing a series of songs for a Nintendo Wii video game entitled, “Battle of the Bands.” With over fifteen songs completed, Jenna became more knowledgeable about the workings of the studio, recording, as well as the importance of proper harmonizing and pitch in a musical composition. .
While recording for the video game, Jenna met legendary hip hop mogul, “B Real” of Cypress Hill. After weeks of running into one another, B Real recognized Jenna’s talent, and asked her to form a collaboration. Jenna sat down with nothing but a beat, and wrote a rap to the song, “Crazy,” where she examines her life through music, and its inevitable roller coaster journey to where she is now. Of course B Real dropped a verse on this song, creating a buzz, opening the ears and eyes of fans all over. Jenna was then asked by B Real to drop a hook on a Cypress Hill track titled “Rise like Smoke” that was released as a bonus track off the Cypress album in March of 2010, now available on Amazon.com.
Aside from working on personal music for herself, Jenna has been singed as a songwriter to Universal Music Group and has most recently been writing songs for top names in the industry, expressing her creativity, and moving forward proudly with her successes and accomplishments, which haven’t come easily, but have shown themselves through years of hard work and dedication.
Jenna is a definite revolutionary talent all around. Writer, recording artist, or rapper, there is no doubt that Jenna will continue along on her journey with nothing but success.
