I am struck at how few female models look relaxed and comfortable. How do we create the emotional space to shoot photographs in which models feel safe enough to be themselves? I am looking for models willing to explore the feminine psyche, beautifully, sensuously and honestly. If nude shots are what a model wants to bring, that's one aspect that I want to explore, but am willing to collaborate on any ideas in an attempt to create some honest photographs. I would prefer to trade a locked, personal gallery on Smugmug and prints for your collaboration. I can provide references on request and insist on meeting sometime other than the day of the shoot.

After 25 years of teaching elementary art on the coast of Maine and 3 years of shooting photographs in NYC, I have adopted Portland as my home. I have been here just over a year. My passion is intimate, revealing, emotional portraits. I am looking for true collaborators in models that can give something of themselves to the process.
