Hello, I go by the name J.S.Barron and it is a pleasure to meet you! Photography has been a hobby of mine for quite some time, but since I've bought my Sony Alpha, I've been more serious about the work. Most of my work has been macro oriented, as most of the pictures I take are of jewelry, flowers, insects and the like, but I have also participated with several editorials concerning modern fashion and events.
Having entered into these realms, I have bothered friends and family to go around town, find awesome places and take pictures. I owe most of this kind of experience to my friend, Alexandra, who has gone with me to abandoned buildings, railroad tracks, clothing stores and restaurants. Because of my experiences with Alex, I've become absolutely fascinated with getting to know people in the endeavor to photograph them as how they want to be seen.
Considering how I feel about photography, I see photo opportunities as a chance for the model to shine and be as they are in the environments they like best. I do not yet have a studio, so all work will be performed on neutral grounds at places to which we can both agree. I do not participate in nude photography, so you can be assured that it will never be asked of you. I want you to be comfortable, above all things. I invite you to bring a friend, as I know it can be a little weird meeting someone for the first time.
I have worked with models of varied experience and style, so I am not afraid to 'let you do your thing' or give you guidance as to what I think will accentuate what I feel are your best visual qualities. I've done both individual shoots and runway, so there's nothing to worry about there.
