A native of New Jersey who moved to California as a teen, the gravitation toward practicing Art began at college while majoring in History. Influenced as I was from an early age by the delicacy and naturalistic undertones of the Art Nouveau and Arts & Crafts movements, exploring how to blend that with a Southern Californian car culture of pin-ups and glamor seemed a challenge but a natural progression. Over the years I have tried to cultivate as diverse a range of influences and inspirations as possible ... still working on it.

Taking cues from such varied sources as the soaring lines of Gothic architecture and the streamlined curves of the Art Deco era to the pure line of Pin-striping prominent in the Hot Rod culture of Southern California, coupled with working within the graphically cartoon sphere of Disney, has permitted me to explore my fascination with the possibilities of form at its most elegant and striking extremes.
