Lady Makeup is.....


LaKesha Quinn, known as “Lady Makeup” was born December 1st in Wichita, Kansas. As a little girl LaKesha would watch her mother as she would sit and put on her makeup perfectly before she would leave the house. When her mother would leave LaKesha would go behind her mom and try to create the same beautiful face. As early as the age of 3 years old LaKesha knew she had the passion to bring everyone’s inner beauty to the forefront.


LaKesha honed her craft over the years by first doing her friends and family members makeup and while in high school being the makeup artist for the school plays. After high school LaKesha packed her bags and moved to Atlanta to pursue her dream of becoming a top makeup artist and beauty expert.


LaKesha began her career by becoming a beauty expert with MAC Cosmetics and became one of the top performing makeup artists. She worked with MAC for over four years before deciding it was time for her to step out of the shadows and follow her deepest passion which was to become an Entrepreneur and a brand. With that Lady Makeup was born. LaKesha exploded onto the fashion world as a freelance makeup artist by working with local photographers and models on photo and video shoots.


Over the years, LaKesha has traveled the world to learn new technics and taken makeup training classes from various top industry artists. Her work has been featured in Be Magazine and she’s worked with artist and reality star Kandi Buruss from “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” and R&B singer Tiffany Evans.


With over 20 years of experience under her belt LaKesha is in continuation of building her brand. She is currently working on her own makeup and skin care lines. With future plans of opening and owning her own Day Spa with complete body maintenance and wellness in the Atlanta market.
