Hi, I'm John and I've been shooting since 2008. I got hooked by the fun and excitement of creating digital photographs and it wasn't long before I had visions of following in the footsteps of Annie Leibovitz. It has become a serious hobby that I want to nurture into my own portrait photography business.

I've had a lot of fun shooting for friends and family and I've learned a lot in the process. But now is the time to progress my photography out of my comfort zone and work on creating a professional portfolio.

I want to specialize in fine-art high school senior portraiture. In time I want to expand that into family, children and perhaps sports photography. No matter the genre, the goals are to build my skills and expand my creativity.

I want to use Model Mayhem to network with diverse male and female models while pushing my photography skills to higher levels. I'm seeking to improve my skills in interacting with clients and subjects as well as developing my posing and lighting skills.

My plan is to work primarily as an on-location photographer. I use portable lighting equipment for flash and natural light photography. But I also have access to a rental studio as well; again, using both flash and natural light.

So I'm looking for models, actors, comedians, musicians and the like who are looking for portfolio images. I'm primarily interested in young adult models but all ages are welcome since the over all goal is to build my skills. So let's get together and create amazing photographs !!
