About Me

Hi and thanks for stopping by and checking things out. I'm an emerging photographer out of Providence, RI, and right now I'm branching out and exploring my interest in photographing humans of all kinds. Mostly everything I've done previously has involved travel/destination photography, and general wandering around with a camera for years and finding unique ways to capture memories, moments, locations, etc.
I've always been interested in art of many mediums, including woodworking, cooking, and painting. I found that with these art forms, I am always a bit abstract. Photography allows me the flexibility that I could never achieve with something like painting. With photography I can be abstract or controlled and precise, well thought out or completely spontaneous. Photography is a way for me to put all those artistic forms into exectuable ideas, and models allow me to create ideas in a way that painting or travel photography hasn't. With a model, I see an outlet to branch out and take control of the construction and composition of an idea. I can visualize the elements of a photo and develop them on and around a model. The planning involved with modeling and bringing those ideas to life is really rewarding and enjoyable.

I am open to working with all types of models because the process is what I genuinly appreciate. I am not looking for just a pretty face (though a pretty face helps). Someone with a little vision and creativity helps. Usually I think on the slightly bizzare side, so I really appreciate collaborating with others to explore different aspects of every situation. That being said, I can come up with plenty of ideas or carry out your vision (or some of each).
I work in a professional manner with a light attitude, and hope for the same. Keep appointments, be honest, be comfortable, have fun, make great art...A chaperone shouldn't be necessary and often gets in the way in one way or another. However, I understand the position of the model, and for the first shoot a chaperone may be fine. But if there isn't trust, there won't be comfort; if there isn't comfort there won't be great photos, so we should all establish that.

I'm flexible. I am also always open (if time permits) for TF's, developing portfolio's, and exploring all opportunities.
