I got started in makeup in a common way, as "that friend" who did makeup and hair before dances or parties. After graduating high school i went off to university to study Psychology for 2 years. I felt no inspiration or direction, nothing seemed to be calling my name. So one night i asked myself a serious question, “If all the jobs in the world paid the same, bottom rate minimum wage, and required the same effort to accomplish, which job would i still be happy doing for the rest of my life?”. The answer was Makeup. That very night i applied to the Hair Design Center’s Makeup Artist program. The next morning i had an admissions appointment, and that night I resigned from university. I started the course one week later and trained under a well-known MAC training artist, Donna Bramley. Since graduating from the program and receiving my makeup artist license I have participated in Atlantic Fashion Week, Golden Fashion shows with Redken, Weddings & Proms, and many Freelance photography shoots. I am also a makeup artist for Lancome and Lise Watier. I’m always excited to build my career, and look forward to future experiences as a Makeup Artist!
