Elizabeth has studied both classical and contemporary art traditions over the last decade, which has given her a rich approach to painting with a unique point of view. She has a BFA in painting from CSU East Bay, and studied with the Juliette Aristides’ Classical Atelier in Seattle and the Grand Central Academy of Art in NYC. She has received numerous awards, shown nationally, and is featured in several publications. Along with personal work, her interest in technology has led her to paint several large portrait works for NASA in California.

Elizabeth works from life and sees that as an important component to the act of painting. She explores the beauty in that dynamic, the painting process, and the highly studied material form in all the work she creates.
