My name is Kara, and I am an aspiring model and actress in the Kansas City, Lawrence, and Topeka areas. I have been featured in local commercials, multiple photo shoots, acting in local theatre and indie film projects, and co-hosted a college radio program.

My style is pretty eclectic. I love fantasy looks, such as sci-fi, post apocolyptic, steam punk, and cosplay. My day-to-day wardrobe is influenced by pin-up girls, rock music, and gaming. My hair is naturally an ashy brown tone, but I regularly dye it a red/copper tone.

I'm not super pose-y, and I believe candid shots taken while we're exploring the boundaries of the environment make for the best photos. However, I am 100% comfortable with taking direction from a photographer, and actually welcome critical feedback. There is always room for improvement and I want to make sure we come away from a project feeling satisfied with the work.

I'm looking to expand my portfolio, helps others expand their own, and make new connections within the community. I would like to begin promotional modeling, especially for events that are marketed toward the geek or music scenes. Ultimately, I'd love to one day be a booth babe for a big gaming or comic convention!
