I've done the first year of a two year BTEC level 3 diploma in hair and make-up for film and television. I want to move on to university leading to a career as a make-up artist. I've had limited practical experience so far but am looking for opportunities to develop my portfolio partly for professional purposes and partly to improve my chances of a place at university. I have spent a day shadowing a make-up artist at Sky television and did the hairstyles at a photoshoot for the website of a stunt team. Due to my limited experience I am happy to work unpaid and meet my own travel expenses either alongside another make-up artist or on my own.

I recently helped out on Wiley's latest music video "Can You Hear Me (Ayayaya)" ft Skepta, JME and Ms D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbQaCCb_Gzc . I touched up 35 extras make-up and made sure they weren't shiny on camera. The brief was "Clubbing", however I had to make sure it was not too over powering. I did this by toning down their make-up and making sure their hair was presentable.
