About Me

Carla Violet Coultas is a Florida-based designer who specializes in high fashion, alternative and edgy design. Carla started designing clothing for herself and her sisters as a teen. In 2012 she began selling her line at a Gainesville boutique. Carla coordinated her first fashion show in January 2013. It included many ready to wear edgy looks. In April 2013 Carla headlined Gainesville Fashion Week. Carla sees designing as a way to meld fashions together, such as: Putting some men’s elements with delicate feminine aspects, or adding harsh contrasts to otherwise fluid and simple pieces. She is currently designing a new line that will be available to the public in June 2013.
