I am a part time freelance/enthusiastic amateur photographer based near Manchester in the UK, but have a job that means I travel around all of the UK quite a lot. I have been taking photography seriously off and on (at times disrupted by life’s events, such as work, children etc.) for over 25 years. I specialised in wildlife photography, but when a few years ago I re-ignited my photographic career I joined a local camera club. That gave me exposure to, but probably more importantly a semi-tutored induction to many other genres of photography.
I found portrait photography particularly interesting and that I was not too bad at it. An obvious consequence is that I would like to expand this area of my activity. I will take on commissioned work, willing to discuss TFI engagements and will at times be sourcing paid models for group projects.
