I (Xandriana) strive to create masterful pieces of comfortable, shaping clothing, specialising in bespoke, custom-made Corsetry. I am a one woman business and every piece is created by myself alone. I have been a corsetiere for 5 years now and professional for 2.

My main aim is to design flattering corsets that not only physically trim your waist down, but aesthetically as well. I have spent years perfecting my own personal hand-drafted patterns, and have tried and tested my corsets not only on myself, but others too. My corsets are incredibly durable, even the most basic, and I make specialised tightlacing ones for more hard wearing, day-to-day use. I don't do one style in particular - I like to vary. I like gothic/burlesque/pin up/modern street/exquisitely beautiful/generally quirky etc.

As for photoshoots for my corsetry, I do some of the photography, and I also get other photographers to do some. I like both clear, simple shots to display my work for sales and promotion, but I also like more in depth, on location shots that have an interesting atmosphere to them.

I don't generally 'lend' out corsets for shoots; I keep very few samples in stock, as I make all corsets custom made to measure there is little point! If you have an idea for a shoot in which you'd like to borrow one of the corsets, have a chat with me and we'll see whether it's something I'm interested in; however if I am not present for the shoot, I will ask for a fully refundable deposit and will send you clear instructions on how to lace and care for the corset.
