Hiii!

East Coast transplant with a doctorate looking to branch off into the beauty industry. I enjoy wearing bright colors on my body (by way of clothing) and have recently started wearing them on my face. I rarely see dark-skinned women with bright colors on their faces AND afros, so I decided to try to be the person that I want to see. I don't like that I feel like I have to mute myself and the colors that I enjoy wearing to fit society's standards. Putting flowers in my natural hair and playing with vibrant color is who I am! And if standing out is not what humans should be, then eff it -- let me be an alien. A pretty moon goddess who enjoys colors popping against her deep dark skin. <3

I want to inspire and empower people by being a walking work of art. I want ALL women, especially women of color, to feel comfortable and empowered in the skin they're in. I want the world to be more vibrant!

May be dyeing my afro baby blue or pink because I like the idea of being a candy princess in real life, hehe :) who WOULDN'T want to look like they just came out of Candyland?
