Wow, I am finally getting started on the path toward my modeling career and I haven't felt better about it! My name is Staci, a Long Beach native with a love for all that SoCal has had to offer my 19 years of life. I consider myself a "Cali Girl": I enjoy longboarding and rollerskating by the beach, dining on quarter-pound charbroiled burgers with a side of golden fries (and a large chocolate shake, please), getting a little 420-friendly and admiring souped up Cadillacs & babes in bikinis.
I have always had a knack for creating anything ranging from pint-sized clay penguins to "plushies"; but my heart rests in the world of illustrating and painting. I've been enrolled at City for the longest and will AT LAST be starting my freshman year this summer (entering as an art major, of course). However, my schedule remains almost entirely flexible as I work part-time on weekends and school, for me, is not in session.

In avoidance of the mundane work I am trying my hardest NOT to fall into, here are some of the things I do like and wish to achieve as a model:

-I am 420friendly and very proudly so. I work very hard to break the image that has been embedded (and sadly too often proven) by society that every marijuana-enthusiast is a lazy, anti-social, low life which--I very well am not--and hope to portray that through my work (with like-minded photographers).
-I like to be versatile! Just because I like and smoke medical marijuana does NOT mean that is all I ever want to do. Nor does it mean I show up inebriated at events and shoots. In fact, it is quite the opposite case. I avoid the use of ANY substance before a shoot. Period.
-This also means I like having ideas thrown out at me for a shoot--let's connect on a creative level and brainstorm! Perhaps you have an idea in mind that hasn't been received well by other models? I like to dig for the creative vision behind every cooperative shoot.
-My main interest is alternative and natural, positive body-image based work. I pride myself on being a natural woman (yes, my underarms are hairy) and do NOT plan on changing that. Please do not ask me to shave for your shoot because, with all due respect, you are wasting your time. I love all things dark and macabre, science fiction, fairies & pixie dust--you name it. I have a deep interest in body modification, plan for several of my own, and adore the alternative aesthetic.
-I have loved and been active in the BDSM community for a while now and am open to fetish & erotic photography based around fetishism. However, I do NOT do any blatantly pornographic work (i.e. there MUST be some sort of artistic quality).
