My interest in photography stems from my education in the cinematic arts. I attended film school and immediately fell in love with both the technical and creative process of creating moving images. Making films can be a long and arduous task, so taking stills was a perfect way for me to keep myself visually stimulated.

I take photos of whatever interests me, whether it's simple portraits, events, locations, etc. I've recently moved to Brooklyn from Los Angeles so everything is opportunities for a photographer like myself seem limitless. I normally shoot on black and white film and do all the traditional processing and printing in my own darkroom, so if you're interested in having that style of photography in your repertoire, be aware of the time it would take to receive prints. I do, however, shoot digitally in certain cases or as a way of showing my subject(s) how certain shots are turning out.

Photography for me as always been a hobby so I don't normally do it with the intent of creating commercially viable pieces. That said, I'm open to suggestions, trying and learning new things, and collaborating with friendly people.
