I stumbled into photography while working on a commercial/graphic design (Book cover) Starting with a canon AE1; I fell in love with photography and temporarily put my pencils and markers aside. My life choices during that time took me through a career in the Armed Forces while photography guided me through the world teaching me technical and artist usage.
I hold Certificates of Achievement in Commercial Photography, Graphic Communications and Image Manipulation from Sacramento Community College. I am currently attending The Art Institute of California (Sacramento), completing a Bachelors of Science in media Arts and animation. I am also currently involved in the Sacramento film scene as a videographer and digital Fx artist.
I have always been stimulated by print and video advertisement, which can invoke my creativity in photographing or digitally creating things that are natural, grungy as well as clean crisp and colorful. Traveling has been the definitive outlet to my work leaving my images as representations of the environment and the people within that environment
