New York born photographer Harrison Funk has been shooting fashion, entertainment, and advertising for nearly two decades. He has photographed some of the biggest stars of stage and screen for publications such as LIFE, Time, Newsweek, Rolling Stone, Spin, TV Guide, USA Today, and Paris Match since the ‘80s. and was Michael Jackson’s personal photographer throughout the height of his career. Harrison cameras have recorded images of some of the world's best known faces, including Madonna, Brandy, The Rolling Stones, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, John Travolta, Johnny Depp, and Nelson Mandela, has produced an extensive and varied body of work, from album packages to advertising.  His entertainment clients include EMI, Sony Music, Warner Records, Rhino, Universal Music, Universal Pictures, Showtime, and many other recording and production companies.

In addition to still photography Harrison has directed more than 30 music videos and documentaries and has worked as a producer, director and cinematographer on a number of features, shorts films and television productions. His credits include the feature films One Step Behind, a Sci Fi comedy about people moving into parallel dimensions and LA Gang Godfather, a drama that goes behind the scenes into the violent Los Angeles gang world of drugs, prostitution, and murder.  His music video credits include Cameo’s Word Up and Michael Jackson’s Moonwalker.  Documentary subjects include a biograph of Steven Seagal and the effects and aftermath of 9/11 as seen through the eyes of  middle America.

In 1995 Harrison’s career took another turn seeing him appointed  Creative Director at Outwest Records, an independent record label associated with Paramount Pictures.  Relocated to London in the millennium, Harrison has been working on projects, with music, fashion, editorial, and advertising clients throughout the UK and Europe, while maintaining close contact with clients in Los Angeles and New York. In 2003 Harrison became Creative Director for the London-based Blink Magazine that he developed with publisher Adrian Grant.  He has completed work on a book project chronicling the star-studded performances at a London nightspot and has most recently been collaborating with designer Mia on “Royal-Babe,” a new fashion/art/lifestyle concept created against the background of his imagery.
