Surely you want to know that your project/ideas or image are in good, skilled hands. With me, they are. With modesty, my experience as a photographer did not happen over night - but was&is a laborious process that took almost 20 years to develop and refine in terms of what today transpires as stylistic and technical expression. My aesthetics have been educated since early age, my father being a well reputed painter, and naturally, it was a family affair to learn how to draw and how to look at people and things in a matter conducive of proportion, framing and symmetry to capture and then relate on canvas the beauty that resides inside all nature. My skills further developed while I was in film school, where the static picture became motion picture and I learnt in photography classes not only the technical aspects but also the social aspects where it became obvious that a good photograph is not only a well executed and lighted point and click, but a matter of successfully communicating with your models, and relating on a personal level with your subject. Photography to me is just a way to surprise “seize” one moment out of the “big picture” and I've been doing it long enough to know you can “entrap one’s soul” as the gypsy say – and as ethereal and esoteric of a task it is, it is my goal.
PS. My time is as precious as yours. I only do free work for consecrated (pro, as in paid) models in order to get my name and skills out there. Otherwise, a complete photoshoot - digital photos, retouched, in set locations no studio, would be $200/day. I know I am living in Tallahassee but commercial professional shoots are paid regardless of the market - my services will be standard to the market you are getting into, be it acting, modeling etc. as in, universal. You can take my photos and proudly present them in New York or Los Angeles. Think of it as investing in your future. If is important to you, you will consider that is normal to pay for my services.
