Aaron Anthony O’Neal was born on the 27th November, 1982 at the Mount Hope Maternity Hospital in Trinidad and Tobago. The eldest of three children, he was raised by his two hardworking and loving parents, Valerie and Michael. He was also raised by both sides of his parents’ family, who also instilled in him the type of ethical and moral values he exudes today.

Aaron didn’t consider himself model material as a teen, and claimed that he was so skinny and pale that his classmates fondly called him “Powder” which was the name of Sean Patrick Flanery’s character in this 1995 Hollywood classic. When he graduated from high school in 2001, Aaron started the gym, which, coupled with his already excellent posture, made him stand out even more in a crowd. He is currently attending one of Trinidad's prestigious Universities, and is in his second year of Pre-Medicine, pursuing a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology, with the hopes of either getting into Medicine or into Petroleum Geoscience.

At 24, he entered his first modeling talent search for the Synergy Supermodel Competition and was exposed to numerous designers and photographers which have helped to increase his fashion sense and confidence, on and off the camera. In this, as well as in future auditions, he came to the attention of others in the business who immediately liked his manly yet fresh and boyish looks. Aaron then quickly embarked upon various modeling gigs, appearing in many fashion shows around the country held by world renowned designers like Meiling, Claudia Pegas and Ecliff Elie. Breaking the typical mold of a classic Trinidadian beau, he also stood apart with his robust physique and fair skin tone which, topped off with his hazel brown eyes and unassuming smile, caused a search to be sparked for other copycat supermodels.

When asked by one of Trinidad & Tobago’s leading local magazines how he got introduced into the world of modeling, Aaron shyly confessed that as a young teen growing up, he was constantly complimented on his clean, ‘unique’ look and coupled with his soaring height and posture, was told that he was an ideal candidate for the advertising and fashion industry. His first audition was the “scariest” he says, “but it was worth every moment.”

Aaron’s steady rise has started in fashion in the small twin-island republic of Trinidad & Tobago, but from his unyielding and resolute determination, it will by no means end there. This young gentleman also has his energies set in making his debut on the big screen from dramatic soap operas to Hollywood blockbusters.
