An amateur by status, but always aiming to be far from amateurish. Although a more serious hobby at this point, I try to approach each shoot with a professional, yet casual, low stress attitude.
The body of my photos are transportation-related scenes, with some landscapes, architecture, and casual portraits added here and there, but I've had the good fortune to also work with some great models doing more conventional and some fetish scenes, primarily involving some bondage themes. That said, it's certainly not a requirement, and wouldn't mind working with any relatively local female models who might be looking to add to their port with more traditional themes. Having been involved in potentially dangerous areas of the transportation industry for 40 years, the concepts of "err on the side of caution" and "when in doubt-ask" are pretty ingrained into the gray matter and carry over quite nicely. I try to keep things as easy going as possible while working, and make sure a model is well within her personal comfort zone. Escorts not a problem, doesn't hurt to have some help occasionally either...as long as they're not a nuisance or involved in the creative aspects, unless I'm the one getting paid. Compensation or TFP/TFCD negotiable, although this is primarily I'm something involved in once or twice a month typically on a semi-limited budget.
For ideal scenes I tend to favor the "girl next door" types (18-40ish) in damsel-in-distress or peril/horror type themes, with things going along in a semi-logical progression, if possible; hopefully done so the viewer is able to fill in a few things with their own imagination. Usually nothing too fancy required as far as makeup or wardrobe, and although I quite appreciate the talent and effort the shibari style bondage takes, I tend towards more simpler methods. Always looking to work with two or more models together, various ethnicities, or pregnant, too. I occasionally get "requests" to work in various uniforms (military, flight attendant, Hooters girl, etc.) or costume themes (20's flappers, 40's pin-up/military, bride/bridesmaid, bikini, lingerie, etc.) if you've got the clothing or urge to work in something like that. Some of my more creative work has resulted from an idea that could be followed up or expanded on, so don't feel shy about suggesting something!
Primarily working relatively locally (Rockford/Chicago/Milwaukee/Madison/Dubuque range), but do occasionally get around the country, too, especially Sacramento/Phoenix/NE PA, western MD.
