A photographer who exhibits work in Australian and international art galleries, even though I hide away in Far North Queensland.
I love a surreal edge. I am currently experimenting with both coloured pop work in a series I call “As Dark as Day” as well as gentler, more natural, black and white work inspired by Japanese photographers. The Title for that series, “Tou Hi Kou Ki’ translates roughly as “The Diary of Running Away to Your Dreams”. Mainly I’m looking for local models (or visitors to the Cairns area), who are looking to add something quirky to their folio, or who are just interested in an artistic collaboration. A model with ideas is a good model. To me a model with edgy ideas, not afraid to fail, is a very good model. (If you looking for a standard model folio, I can remember how to do that too, but if it’s unadventurous I’ll charge a fee, otherwise quite OK with TF) I like to meet up with my model first to discuss ideas.
