I've worked on and off as a photographer for over 10 years. I started in film with black and white. A few years back I finally made the move to digital with a decent camera after getting frustrated with some advertising shots for a play I produced. Since then I have fallen back in love with photography and take pictures everywhere.
I have shot engagement photos, headshots, people studies, lifestyle, and some wedding.
I like to have a laid back atmosphere with a lot of play occurring. Your session can be serious, but it should also be fun. I might even make you laugh while doing this.
I do not have a studio, so if you have a location in mind that would be helpful. I also like to shoot in natural light as it gets a better, well rounded, result than the use of flashes.
My rates are affordable and can be negotiated due to the session (location, number of looks, etc).
I've found the best way for me to get you your shots are through dropbox: I send you the untouched, you pick which shots you like, and I do a light cleaning of them (I do not do heavy retouching as of right now - this may change in the future). Some effects can be done on a case to case basis (b&w, sepia, high saturation, etc). Two file copies of shots will be sent in the end: 1 for print size, 1 for internet friendly.
You would need to supply your own make-up and hair artist.
Worried about coming alone? Please feel free to bring a friend, though I might want to ask them to help with some equipment (like hold a reflector or move things out of the shot if my hands are full).
