Sharp, well lit photographs are simple, but what makes a photograph really interesting?

As Ansel Adams said, "you don't take a photograph, you make it". I'm a big fan of preparation, sometimes that takes days, sometimes seconds, but I can always see the picture in my head before the pose and long before the shutter.

Or as Steve McCurry said, "Most of my photos are grounded in people, I look for the unguarded moment, the essential soul peeking out, experience etched on a person’s face." Which is why I'll make you laugh! There has to be a bond between photographer and subject, so the unguarded moment can be found and immortalised.
