About Me

From 2007 to 2012 Peter worked as staff photographer for both Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS and BroadwayWorld.com as well as a freelance photographer for Playbill.com From in-studio shoots of Original Cast recordings, to shooting hundreds of Broadway and Off Broadway red carpets, to covering the after parties for the Tony Awards. He had the honor of capturing the very moment Stephen Sondheim had a theater named after him as well as being the official wedding photographer for Avenue Q’s puppets the day same sex marriage passed in New York.

His Broadway work has been seen on television (CNN, The Today Show, Good Morning America, The View, Theater Talk) as well as displayed in national publications (AP, Variety, New York Times, The NY Post, NY Daily News, Time Out Magazine, Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, The Washington Post, Next Magazine and PerezHilton.com)

He photographed as well as designed both The Women of Rock of Ages and The Men of Rock of Ages calendars to benefit BC/EFA.

In 2008, Peter created a gallery installation of all the Broadway theaters in High Dynamic Range at the Actors Equity Association Lounge. These images greeted actors working in New York City right before walking into the audition room. In 2013, the Times Square Alliance asked permission to hang the photos in the Times Square Visitor Center. Now millions of tourists from all over the globe will see these images upon their first visit to New York.

This year has brought a lot of surprising directions for business as well. From designing a marketing campaign and clothing line for Mark Fisher Fitness, creating the visual art for Broadway’s official Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark 2013 calendar, to retouching production photos for 2013’s Tony Winner for Best Musical, Kinky Boots and Rocky on Broadway.

Now, he takes on a brand new arena….Indie Game Development. This past month Peter was brought on as Lead Visual Artist to create Photoshop composites for an upcoming video game entitled “Z.” This zombie vs. survivors game will be available on PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and Facebook in 2014 and programmed by the folks who brought you games like Call of Duty and Starcraft.

He currently lives in Astoria, NYC.
