I’m not reading all this cause basically I’m not a noob big_smile

So if this has been said before it is worth repeating.

DO NOT JOIN THIS SITE IF YOU DO NOT WISH PEOPLE TO FIND YOU

This site is spidered by all major search engines. A search for your name through Google will find you. If you do not want to be found easily, use a fake name, or better yet don’t model! If you are hiding your modeling, you probably shouldn’t be doing it anyways.

Wonderful advice contained here, but popularity does not imply intelligence and "wolves" can be annoying as "trolls".  The number of forum posts does not make one "smart" or "industry knowledgeable".

Attempting to discuss change seems to bring out the wolf-pack faster than territory infringement....or wait, is the status quo their territory?...

Oh...and runway eligible or not, short curvy girls ROCK!

Why indeed Leo. I myself should have read this long ago, but I was not FORCED to do so, so I guess that's why I didn't. Newbies often must be forced into doing the "right" thing, because they're newbies (ignorant). I think the main problem is the lack of useful information in most instruction manuals these days. People get used to having to fend for themselves and thinking that they can figure things out without reading the (useless) instructions. And since most of us think we don't have time to read the fine print, we just end up "getting by" with what little we know, rather than filling our minds with the knowledge it takes to excel.

Four Hail Marys! Do it!

Guilty as charged, too. A Mayhemmer hit me upside the head with the manual. Hurt like hell.

Remember, if you ask people to vote for you, they will automatically vote for everyone else.

It's a knee jerk reaction.

Hi,  some very helpful advice here so far, but I had a question (hadn't found the answer anywhere else yet...i might be blind, who knows):

ok, so if you have a model and a makeup artist willing to work with you on a shoot, how exactly do you set everything up?  Is there a generally accepted method on here that one should follow?   What info should I include and should I ask them to contact each other too?  I just don't want to look unprofessional or anything before I do anything.

thanks.
