i wanted to thank all those that participated, Wenchi kicked butt and is very happy about being picked, as am I. we have some great entrys every week and thats great, voting however seems to be an issue as with over 500 participants we should have over 100 votes every week..... I suspect there are those that are not committed to this at all. if i am not entered i vote and i have no internet i am out here in the street stealing a connection, risking having my lap top snatched from out of my hands by one of the youngsters that approach me...if i can make the effort under these circumstances , well lets just say some folks dont seem to be committed, shame on them......

Jonathan, we currently send out vote ballots to Top Drawer members only, many of them busy professionals, traveling the world on business, and a few of them emailing me later with apologies for not making it to the vote in time. We do however need to light a fire under their collective butts on this issue and we will. wink

I am preparing to move part of The LIST over to Model Insider but we will certainly maintain a presence here as this project is very much MM based and we will want to link from here to features over there. At MI we will be able to automate much of the LIST and we will be able to pull in the reigns of communication. I believe that by doing this we will promote more participation from not only TD members but also from the general LIST membership. Change is sometimes slow but I'm optimistic that this entire program will be rockin' soon. Hang in there. wink

I concur   I was doing a SM shoot and the next thing I knew I was tied up. I hate it when that happens… I then realize that I might miss my chance to vote in last weeks contest here. So being the sport that I am, I knocked over the chair that I was tied to, inched my way over to the madams mac (she tricked me into being tied up then said something about going to some playboy party…..and wanted me to be there when she got back)and using my nose I typed in the address to this page to check out the contestants, which by the way were all winners IMHO...  … then, thanks to craigs e-mail in results I need to log off and back into my account to cast my vote… I was able to do that and get myself back up righted in time to finish the shoot..

you should have taken the week off.. without you and I voting the chance of any votes being cast has deteriorated. It could be up to Craig to decide on which of the four models are the newbie of the week....

Hey gang, and thanks Joelle. Seems it's only a bad case of poison ivy which has taken over one arm and my chest and abdomen...no fun. I've received a shot in the buttocks and am using topical ointments as well so should be out of the woods wink in a few weeks. Seems I got poison ivy sappy stuff all over my shirt and arm while shooting my favorite model deep in the wild, and I'd risk it all again to get those shots....being a little more watchful next time. wink

The votes are in and counted and I will be posting the winner as soon as I code it all up. Thanks everyone for your love and support. Let's keep this thing going~!!

….

You both did a great job…..

Craig… I hope you’re feeling comfortable. Life in the woods has changed forever for you my friend…  I’m always in the woods and the three leave itch (poison oak/ivy) is always on my mind when stomping around the backcountry.

I am highly susceptible to the toxin in the oils (urushiol ) from those evil plants… I need almost 5x the normal dose of medrol to fight off the effects of being exposed… You did the right thing by going to the hospital….

I was in the woods Saturday following a stream bed, with my friends and the oak was everywhere. It makes you paranoid.
