Tan tend to look better for swimsuit, lingerie and glamour when it comes to images with colors.  The model do look healthier.  when I say tan, I don't mean fried tan.

I prefer pale. But with really good lighting, I think tan looks amazing.

photographers and models which look do you prefer more?
Do you like tan or pale models?

i know that most glamor models are tan and most art/alternative models are pale.

But which would you prefer to work with or hire?

for me i got less work as a pale model, i was also only about 19.

me pale.

maybe i get more jobs now because of my credits?

I have been thinking about not tanning, but I am scared that it will hurt my look/business?

whats your take on the whole tan/pale thing?

In the little bit of work I have had, I have noticed that it really doesn't matter as long as you know how to model. I love your natural skin color, but it seems to me in pictures with tan skin, you get more of a natural glow. Perhaps that is just me.

For me I have noticed that it doesn't not really matter the color of your skin as long as you know how to model and do what the photographer says. You have a beautiful pale skin, it does not look unhealthy at all. But I have noticed that with tan skin, it gives a more natural glow. Perhaps that is just me though.

pale ,pale ,pale.......just a personal pref. tan looks fake .... you can tell when someone is not their natural tone, regardless of how drastic.

2 cents worth, maybe even 1 cent in today's market!

I think I have kind of a greenish tone to my skin, and I can look freaky under certain light, then other times, I look like I have a tan.
People have said I look like Morticia, or that I have a 'goth' look tongue
I think whatever God gave you is best.
And in no way should you risk cancer for it, both of my parents have skin cancer.
So I have seen the effect it has, to be removed it can leave big, awful scars, it's just not worth it.

Thank you!!!

I think so many women get too caught up worrying what other people think about them.  Brains are sexy as hell, and when it comes to tanning booths, it isn't logical.  I know, I know, there are other ways to tan as well.

Personally, I find pale skin much more attractive than tan skin, but that's just me.  I have friends that feel the opposite.  Good luck.

I'm pretty sure it's not so much what tone your skin is , then it is your a better model now then you were then.
so if you want to go pale it shouldn't hurt you anymore then staying tan .

hope that helps
