Read an article about 'Alt Models' ( http://coilhouse.net/2008/06/05/what-do … even-mean/ ) including those of transsexual models... I wonder if there are any transsexuals models on MM? Would be interesting to have a look at their profile and port. Heard some of 'em are extremely pretty:)

I don't know if there's anyone here but I would love to work with them as well, as a photographer and as a model... Sometimes they are even better than us lol

2 slave to the lens - yeah, I know that some of the transgender folk are not very eager to tell smth about their 'male past' and I really understand them... Though most of my TG/TS acquaintances are do not hide this

The best thing to do is to browse models in your area, most of them will say it right there on the portfolio.
Time consuming browsing posts to find TS models ... does anyone know about a previous forum thread ... I'm most definitely interested in photographing ...
One of my best friends is transsexual, and she is on this site. She and I dated for most of 2004, and were still sleeping together in 05/06. She is gorgeous.
I don't think I did any wrong talking about Toya.
I don't think I outed Toya.
I think Toya is an awesome alt. model and thought I would share.
It says male on Toya's page, and so it's not like I outed someone who wanted to hide a male past or something.

Well I also think no one was outed))) I've looked over Toya's port and found it kinda freakish - exactly how I like it... And if Toya is not against revealing himself - that's just great!
The reason why I started this post is that modelling is kinda tough business even for genetic women and it becomes extremely difficult for the transgender ones - either pre-ops or post-ops. And I wanted to know if some of them could really succeed in it, 'cos it's not only pretty face and good shape that are needed:) Some photographers, make up artists, producers and even fellow-models may be... uhm... kinda preoccupied againts 'em. And I guess those transgender models who have tried and succeeded against anything deserve great respect and admiration

I know of 2 really cool drag queens, ( They do look like real girls!!!) they love to get photographed, not sure if they r on MM but they r on myspace. msg to me if ur interested and I'll send u their links. They r in LA.
I've worked with a couple of TS models, don't have any of the images in my port at the moment. They were definitely a pleasure to work with and are gorgeous....
And, well a question to the photographers - why do you find interesting to shoot TG models? Is this just some desire for a bizarre-looking model? Or do you want to show an expression of person's gender identity? Or maybe you just may compare uhm... sorry... ordinary models and TG models and find out that the TG ones are simply more suitable for some kind of shooting, i.e. sports, fashion (due to their height), or boyish appearance (narrow hips, wide sholders and so on)...
I am shemale. It would be beneficial if there was a listing for TS,s. Though I prefer living a stealth life, when it comes to potentially modeling it makes things simpler just to be forward for any shoots. The biggest challenge is to network with people who wish to photograph TS's. There is no interest here in Toronto and so finding opportunities outside the porn industry is difficult.
My son-in-law is a f-to-m transexual. He's also the volunteer coordinator for the San Francisco Trans March. For the last couple of years I've done standby medical at the pre-march rally (I'm an EMT/Hazmat Tech for a day job). This year I was also asked to be one of the photographers for the event.
I had a great time photographing members of the transexual community and their supporters and allies.
For those of you who might not have much experience with transexual people (and might have only some stereotypical views of them), check out these links: transmarch.org
I find it really sad that in 2010, Transgender models don't have their own category where they can be listed and searched as equal as Men and Women. They really do deserve their own classification if they so chose to identify with such titles for the ease of finding modeling work, the same as all men and women on here
an area that has always peeked my interest in ts/ tv m2f...i am not afraid to shoot whoever would like to shoot...your privacy of course is your privacy i will not post anything without consent of course it is your private life...
beauty comes in all forms male , female, transgender...you should be created equal no matter what...society is to strange nowadays as it is with it's clicks...one of my friends is a hot chick post op and i would shoot with her anyday...
i was first in awe when she came up and told me who she was...i said are you kidding me...she said noway...lets just say it changed my prospective forever...so if anyone wants to shoot let me know...i could create a magazine for ya all....those that want to be in it of course...i have no fear so bring em on...
