Okay, we're starting with a fresh, clean thread. Please post your suggestions for new features or improvements to MM here. Don't worry if your suggestion has already been mentioned--if several people are saying it, it's more likely to get done.
I think that it would be good to have a system, like the gatekeepers, to clear out old profiles from before our more advanced and awesome profile approval that are inactive or have not been updated for more than 1 year.
I did try to search for this to make sure it hadn't been discussed before, sorry if I missed it. The system is not including ICC profiles when generating thumbnails. Thus, if a photo is uploaded with a sRGB profile a color managed browser will display the thumbnail and full size image differently. Basically the thumbnails look a little blah while the large image looks great. With more browsers becoming color aware (Safari and Firefox for sure) it would be nice if the thumbnail was assigned the same profile as the original. Just a thought.
I recently noticed that a photo of mine had been added to a new list, so I clicked on it to see what list it was. The list turned out to have a couple of thousand photos in it and it tied up my computer for 5 minutes (and I have high speed internet).
I LOVE the lists - I think they are a great idea - but 1) what is the POINT of a list with a couple of thousand photos...how special could THAT many pics be? 2) if you've been using the internet more than about a week, wouldn't you know that a list that big would cause the problem I ran into: tying up my computer while ALL those pics are downloaded?? ['wonder what this does to the speed of the site as well?]
How about putting a limit on lists...say, 250 photos or so??
I had mentioned this in the old thread and didn't see if there was a response before this thread was started, but making the site more mobile-friendly would be good. Especially since so many people are using their phone to access the web now. I have lost jobs because the site wouldn't allow responses from my Blackberry to go through.

A couple bugs I've found recently: When I try to send someone a friend request, I get a "Can't insert data1" error. When I tried to send a message to that effect to the moderators through the contact-a-mod mechanism, I got a "Can't insert data" error. Are these being worked on?
On another site (Its the same concept as this one) you can submit a shoot that you did with people that are also members on that site.
You can type a bit of tekst about the photoshoot, how the model was, how the photographer was, the overall vibe, show some photo's and give feedback exz.
Maby an automatic thingy so when you submit one of these photoshoots it will add to your profile.
List creation. It seems obvious to me, but but surely we should be able to create a new list in the list edit section of 'My Stuff' rather than HAVING to go into another member's profile to do it!

I second this.
My searches keep turning up tons of dead profiles.
Forgive me if this has been brought up before, but I wasn't able to find it. I'm from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and I would like to be able to limit my model searches to an area smaller than all of Ontario. There are currently 2885 models in Ontario. A little much to browse though to find the locals. I notice the US has a "range" option, but no other country can even search by city name.

I suggest a step in PM's after you hit "Delete" saying "Are you sure?" in case of accidentally hitting the button, as in Windows.
A huge number of members when joining try to enter there province, territory, district, etc. can't find it because that section is only labeled "State". Expanding the label name would help everyone outside the U.S. When they don't choose something from that category, they won't be found in searches by that area!
Being in Canada, I agree with having the ability to narrow searches here to closer than just the province of Ontario!
Fixing the "Rearrange Photos" function would be a huge help! Mine hasn't worked for a month & a half!!
I would like a feature to search by city, and or, postal code and distance similar to the feature available to Americans. I now live in Ontario Canada and it takes a long time to sift through portfolios to find models in my area.
I have to bump my travel notices alot and have recently had two locked due to excessive bumping (one I understand why)
But I would like to suggest that maybe we can do the travel notices similarly to the casting calls.
With a notice (that can be turned on and off) that someone is coming and a search to find people coming to your area.
I just think it would be alot easier than searching through pages of threads to see if anyone is traveling to you. It would also make things alot easier for the traveler as well
Could there in the future be a way to have my email or my stuff notified when someone comments or lists a pic of me thats on a photographers profile?
Cause a few photogs have pic of me pre-baby on their profiles, and I love them and enjoy hearing feedback on them, their just not current, so not useful in my profile right now.
*Ability to add a key word in profile searches. So far we can specify the country and county, using a keyword for the town would help narrow the searches (I m in Canada)
* Forum subscription. user would check a "subscribe" tick box and be notified of additions to the thread.
* More retention on the announcements.
* Last 100 pics uploaded by members are visible in a slideshow / ticker format. No text, no names, just pics with the hyperlink to the portfolios)

also, as someone mentioned before, something to let us know a new comment or an add to fav has been made to pics.
Thanks.
I agree, and to go along with this I think something to notify us of new tags would be nice also...
Out of habit I often go to my page to view my pics and check for new pic comments. However, in the routine of doing that I rarely find myself just scrolling my page. Once I get to the tag section I realize there's been tags sitting there for a week or more at times...
I know for me'
1. Its an upgrade for the Mail/PM system to have "Folders" I'd like to be able to group the emails by name, dates, projects etc etc etc.
2. A "Profile Watch", similar to Friends, when they update with new photos.
3. A "Worked With" credit section button, click on it and it shows you the MM models you've worked with, can be tied in with uploading photos in the credit slot.
