Just spread a rumor that there is a slim chance that I might be in attendance and I'm sure that will peak some interest........ Yes, I know that sounds a little arrogant.................but your point is!!!! Things to consider: 1. Does this place serve Guinness? 2. 57.4% of people who say they will attend will not show, so plan accordingly! 3. 84.7% of all on line statistics are made up...... ~just saying~ Hey everyone Icecold Images might grace our M&G with his presence. Ice: 1. I'm sure there will be Guiness (bring your ID) 2. 76.3% of the people attending will drink the guiness so you better get there quick. 3. It's actually more like 92. 9% of all online statistics are made up. 4. At least 25.7% of the people at the M&G will be thrilled that you come see us. Hope you make it. Pleaseeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!

I'm still working on getting people from FC to come. Maybe if I keep my clothes on they won't run away so quickly and I can tell them about it. lol

Voting - Location #1 had 10 votes Location #2 had 25 votes Not trying to rain on anyones parade or on the hard work they did organizing the event but a few more things to consider....... 1. Your charging money to get in to a "social" event that you say because it covers the cost of food. What if people don't want to eat or drink.....Most people will not pay a cover charge to get into this type of event. I'm not going to pay 5 or 10 dollars to pop in for 1 hour to say hello to a few folks and then leave....not everyone is going to stay for the entire duration or stay and eat or drink. I'd rather go sit down some where at a near by bar and get something to eat or drink. Now if you have people pitch in and bring food or drinks....that might work, but paying to get in......"epic fail" So you all know that I'm not a tight wad, for the very first Tampa MNG over 3 years ago, I brought close to $100 worth of Guinness to share and would have no problem pitching in. 2. Does this studio have General Liability Insurance, does it know that you will be serving alcohol at this event. You know there will be minors at this event and the fact that you will be "carding" people and "charging" accordingly makes both you and the studio liable if anyone, especially a minor gets caught drinking or worse yet, injures someone. Plus who is doing the carding? Can you spot fake ID's, etc.... Thats why having the event at a bar or restaurant is better, gives people who choose to eat or drink more variety as well as removes a lot of the liability off you. 3. How many people will this studio hold? Is there room to set up tables to sit down or is it standing room only....does it have adequate restrooms? We all know how much models need to use the facilities....not to mention those who will be consuming alcohol. 4. Just how close to the beach is this place? How about parking? Are there parking meters? Will it cost people $5 worth of quarters to park? Again....not trying to rain on the parade, just trying to be sensible.

Thanks for the input "IceCold Images" Yes, you do bring up several great topics... Just to add my .02 cents to some of your topics for discussion... 1).. NO, we are not "Charging" for the event, and there is no 5.00/10.00 cover to get in. We are simply saying if you would like some refreshments, you can either "Donate" to the cause and have it supplied. If attendee prefer not to partake in the "Donation for Food" and wish to bring their own, that is fine as well. no one will be turned away. In the past, I have been a part of many types of gatherings and the "Bring a dish" or "Refreshments" works part of the time. People will say they will show with a "Item" and become a no-show and we end up food-less, drink-less and people get frustrated. As far as the pitch-in to help, thats basically why we came up with the 5.00 / 10.00 donation. We were just throwing that out there, none of this is written in stone. 2).. Yes, this is a good point... maybe the 10.00 for alcohol will have to be re- constructed. I do understand the legality behind this. If you go to a bar type atmosphere, most drinkers will probably fork out 20.00-30.00 in drinks alone. We were trying to keep the cost down to a reasonable amount. I will check with the owner of the Studio for liability insurance. 3).. The studio will hold 50+ people, plent of room for tables and chairs. It s set up lik a New Your Flat, exterior walls and a center partition. The usable space is set up like a "L" design 20' wide by 40' long by 40' in both directions. 4).. Parking in not an issue and there is no meter parking. The beach is a 5 minute drive and within a few days, I will have photos of the area with a map of the locations ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Anyone else have anything they would like to add or discuss, please feel free. I think there are some good point above from Ice cold Images and I think Keith answered them well (or is in the process of finding out an answer). I do understand both points of view on the locations and I think they both have their pros and cons. I like the idea of having food and beverages supplied and having a choice of either par-taking in the option to purchase or not and bring my own if I so desire. I don't think that 5.00 for sodas, chips, pizza and wings is a bad price...actually, I think it is very cheap. I know I can't bring my own for that amount. I do appreciate anyone helping to keep the cost of a party to a minimum as the Southwest committee has tried to do. Another option for the 10.00 alcohol issue is to have people who want to par-take in the fountain of youth (booze/beer) to just B.Y.O.B. Just my 2 cents..

I am just finsihing up the Photo documentation for the Meet-n-Greet. I will upload a .PDF file and place a link to it on here. This way you can download it, print it out and see some of the locations within 200' of the Studio. There are a few beautiful locations within a 5 minute drive of the Studio. The First page will have Directions and the Map of the area with a "Number" place on the street location to reference the following Photos. Talk to you soon... Keith
