Things are looking great and it looks like we will have a good variety of food.

We do need some folding tables and chairs. Is there anyone that has any that they could bring?

their is no wait list for models? the list was because the photog to model ratio was way higher. . so to balance it their was a limit to photog's, but not for models

It said people. So I assumed it meant Photographers and Models. Still looking for make up and hair people though.

The studio owner wants to limit the number of people at the meet and greet, he's trying to avoid a zoo like environment and keep things civil. If the weather is good (forecast for Saturday at the moment is cloudy 70 degrees), we have a state park close by where we can shoot in addition to the studio.

I’ve had a couple photographers cancel and was told by a photographer that a couple models and a photographer would not be showing up and unfortunately he’s not willing to tell me who they are… There are a couple people that are showing up late for the Waterfire event only and they are listed as attending. So there are a few openings in the studio.

There are available slots for Ashley and Amanda and I’ve sent them PM’s already.

If anyone would like to go there could be openings available if someone should drop out… so be sure to leave a message because I can only add people on a first-come-first-served basis.

Everyone should remember that there is no limit to the number of people at Waterfire!

The Waterfire event has no limit and anybody who wants to meet up with us there, are more than welcome! And if you are planning to go to Waterfire only you need to make plans with whomever you would like to meet up with. We will be meeting at the "Wall of Hope, Waterplace Park Basin Tunnel" and go from there.

I will add more about Waterfire in a second post.

I hope that this helps to clarify what I had posted.

Waterfire event...

There is limited free parking and plenty of paid ($ 5:00 - $10.00) parking near Waterfire.

We will meet at the "Wall of Hope, Waterplace Park Basin Tunnel" and from there people can roam as they wish. Any photographers and models looking for pictures should make plans in advanced because there will be a large crowd there. Swap phone numbers and such at the studio or by e-mail.

Waterfire is a public event and there generally is a large crowd there but there is plenty of room for everybody.

Professional cameras and flashes are allowed as long as you do not make a big scene. When I was there I saw several 70-200 2.8 lenses... I'd suggest that you pack light because you will be walking.

Plenty of bars and restaurants are near and there are food stands close.

Lets have some fun!!!

Anyone else with suggestions please add them... smile

...and my friday shoot was actually just cancelled...so you can likely expect some kind of baking to come of that.(lol)

can't wait to meet (and greet) everyone!(many thanks again to ken and ray!)

...anyone can feel free to PM me with any shoot ideas/requests you may have...

I'm going mainly as a photographer, but I'll be bringing my airbrush makeup kit along with me too.  I was going to do Zadie's make-up there, but I could be coerced into doing other model's make-up too.  smile
