Lafyette is a badass. Dunno why I didnt realize he was Tara's brother. And I'm so dense, because I didnt even suspect Sam until EPI 4. He's totally a shape shifter. I always wondered why the dog and Sam were never seen in the same frame. Lafyette is her cousin not her brother..... but still fam. and yes Sam has been in the same frame talking to the dog and throwing a ball... I really do think he might be a warewolf because Sookie mentioned it in one episode, and Sam has very "dog like" ways...barking in his sleep, sniffing sheets, when sookie reads his thoughts she said sometimes he just makes noises.

uggg im a vampire fetishist and i cant stand to watch this show...i have watched or own copies of every major vamp movie or show worthwhile.. and this wouldnt go under my nightstand to prop up the broken leg and mind you i have watched every episode so far and am hoping they turn it around cause it has potential but am not seeing it yet. but its basically 75% softcore pornography, 10% stereotyping, 10% hillbilly redneck farm talk, and 5% retarded fang effects lol id rather watch an amateur fetish clip (order slayer paris vids if you wanna see better work) which will have an abundance of better characters, an interesting plot, and better graphics. haha. the characters are all derogatory stereotypes of the type of person they're modeled after. its horrible. listen closely to the way they talk, what they wear, what job they have, their background, or the quotes they have. its even been talked about in a psych seminar i attended lol i'll stick with the classic movies thankyaverymuch

Anyone here that has read the Charlaine Harris novels the show is based on? From what I'm reading, it sounds like they borrowed character names and locations and threw the rest of Harris' work in the toilet.

He was wishing Blade or Buffy would come to town to get rid of Bill. The dog seems a little creepy always spying on Sookie in the bushes. Lafayette is Tara's cousin. He's my favorite character. But I do think that Sam is not quite human. Werewolves and vampires supposedly don't get along.

I think the "overdone" accents and stereo-types are all a part of the shows charm.

It was surprising that she got murdered. Jason is like the comic relief. He's a sex addict and now he's added V to his addiction. The garbage sex scene was funny.

Yes it's odd to see her killed off so soon, she seemed to have alot more to her story than they've talked about....I really doubt thats the last we will see of her

When sookie dropped to the floor, I believe Bill grabbed her. (Saw this when they were showing us the next episode.) This episode was slow and didn't have much action, but next episode looks to be really good. Jason is a freak of nature!!! I thought it was so funny when he just kept banging her and didn't stop. I can't wait to find out what happens with that situation. ugh only 1 more week!!!! haha

I think the grandmother would be good as a vampire character. Jason...exactly. That's what makes him so interesting, especially his prejudice against vampires. I wish the entire season was on everyday.

It reminds me a lot of a film called "Near Dark" probably one of the best vampire films I've ever. Oh, shit, if this show is anything remotely as good as Near Dark, I have to see it!

For me personally, I'd like the show a ton better if they didn't have the super huge fangs. The actors have a hard time speaking when they're in I've noticed. That and the whole making dumb faces and hissing to show them...super lame.

Last night had me dying!! OMG I love the way she like FREAKED out on everyone about the pie and then again at the funeral. The rivalry between Bill and Sam only leads me to believe that Sam is a werewolf. I can't come up with any other explanation for his behavior, the dog, the barking in his sleep and the rolling in the sheets, plus we all know that vampires hate werewolves. And the previews for upcoming episodes had me really going, I can hardly wait!!

I am surprised that sookie let Bill bite her.... wtf? when they showed us next weeks episode you could see the teeth marks on her neck at work. Wonder how the people in the town are going to react to that.
