I just had to brag on my baby girl.  She is 3 1/2 and is really going through a developmental leap right now.  She is doing up to 100 piece puzzles on her own and anything easier than that she does them 2 or 3 puzzles at a time.  She just started this interest in regular puzzles a couple of weeks ago and has progressed so quickly.  One morning I got up and she had 5 20 piece puzzles on the kitchen table totally done.  She was like "look at what I did while you where sleeping mommy."  yikes

Also she has her alphabet down, is totally potty trained day and night, and can count to 14.

God I love her.

I don't have kids for now, but my cousin is the mother of a lovely almost 7 year old girl, and I am her godmom. Her name is Abigaelle.

this is my daughter Lexi, she is 21 months. I want her to do baby modeling, she had her first photoshoot and the photographer said he never saw a 1 1/2 year old stand and pose exactly how he told her too. She also knows her entire alphabet, can count to 10, knows every body, and identifies different animals and objects. and says Hi! to EVERYONE! she is sneaky though but has very good manners, always says please and thank you. were working on when to say Thank you and when to say your welcome.

My daughter has been admitted to the gifted program! I'm incredibly proud of her, she's worked really hard to get a grip on her ADHD! smile

I've worked with a lot of kids who had adhd and I think they can be some of the smarter kids really.  they get bored easily and need a lot of physical exercise.  Congrats to you both on her progress!!!

Yes, ADHA does not impinge on intelligence, and sometimes neither does autism.  my brother is ADHA but is accompanied by slight autism and mood disorder. He goes to a school for behavioral children with learning disability.  Its wonderful that your daughter exhibits such high intelligence. smile

homeschooling can sometimes be better, especially for intelligent children as it won't hinder their progression of learning.

My girls are brilliant too.  I completely sympathize.

My oldest is in a school for highly gifted kids and my youngest is in kindergarten this year in a private spiritual school and is top of her class.

Little ones really are gifts from Divine.  smile

My little boy is the light of my life, he's soo funny and smart. At 2 he can already count to 7 and says please and thank you. He still signs (I been been teaching him since birth) but he talks more now and rarely uses them, but he still does once in a while.  He's such a loving child.
