5th LIST â MENTOR support for Makeup Artists
I think that's just in case the mentor offers to meet up with you in person for something maybe? May 25 09 09:27 am Link Julia Dyson wrote: Hey Julia, May 25 09 09:48 am Link Ok Peter this is awesome! How do we get a Mentor List going for Hairstylists as I would love to mentor those hairstylists less experienced than me and seek mentorship from those more experienced than I (say in the genre of of Avante Garde hairstyling)? I find this forum in general is so much more resourceful for MUA to MUA but not HS to HS. Most of the questions on this site are from our Do-It-Yourself Adventurous Models requesting hairstyling/coloring tips on how to do their own hair for a photoshoot. Please advise on how we can start a list for serious professional Beauty/Editorial Fashion and Runway HairStylists.Continue this great deed. I also appreciate your guidance on this matter of starting a HS Mentor List. What is a 'founder' member? Do I qualify? And what is entailed ib keeping a list active? Once I put the word out to get at least a dozen Hair Stylists to start out with, I definitely will be needed your help. Thanks again. If you're worried about wasting anyones time or bugging anyone, I suggest hitting up the forum search - pretty much everything in general has been covered pretty well. Jun 15 09 06:36 pm Link I have a question (and I'd like to keep this thread alive) does anyone have a tutorial on either the perfect bee stung lips or I'd like to see how other artists perfect the lip line. Gracias. Jun 15 09 06:40 pm Link Lip line perfection by me : Usually acheived by using a thin lip brush with lipstick on it, over a base of Lip Liner. Line as well as you can, and then with the edge and point of the brush draw your line, will give you a nice crisp edge. Jun 27 09 11:23 am Link bump Jun 30 09 08:44 am Link Anyone ever had a problem with someone stealing your copyrighted work and posting it as their own? I have a lawyer and am confident this person will have to take it down one way or the other. Should I watermark all my work from now on to keep this from happening again? Thought this would be a helpful topic for many. Happy 4th of July! Brandie Hopstein owner/mua SAVEDGEbeauty Jul 04 09 06:44 am Link Ive never had that issue but I know MANY have. I personally don't like watermarked images, but, if it makes you feel more secure then go for it! Is it someone on MM? If so, let a MOD know and we can get the profile taken down Jul 04 09 08:43 am Link |
