I made a huge mistake when I revived this game. I need to give credit to Brooks Ayola who started the original game thread.
An old classic MM game and the perfect way to get those post counts up, if you're into that. :-)
I'l start with a song title and you come up with a different song using one of the words in that title. Followed by the artist's name. Don't follow yourself... Wait for someone else to post before you do.
EXAMPLE:
Love Can Destroy Everything - The Raveonettes
Destroy Everything You Touch - Ladytron
Not To Touch The Earth - The Doors
Got it?
READ THESE SIMPLE RULES to keep it fun:
1) Use the exact word. ("Sunshine" does NOT equal "Sun". "Word" does NOT equal "Words." "John" does NOT equal "John's," etc.)
2) Try NOT to use the simple words like a, the, to, is, etc.
3) If you post at the same time as someone else, edit your post to fix it. If it still works because you used the same word, you can add LBSW (Late But Still Works) if you like. This rule makes the following rule more important.
4) Quote the post above you!
5) If you see a pattern developing of the same word, try to keep it going if you can. (We had as many as 50+ songs in a row with the same word in them in the past. It made it fun and challenging).
6) If someone makes a mistake, use the last correct post and skip the wrong one.
7) Keep in mind that not everyone has heard of every song. So to avoid confusion, list the song title first, THEN the name of the artist.
8) It's the "Song Title" game, not the "Artist" game. Matching a word in an artist's name to a word in a song title does not count.
Shall we?
I'll start...

Ha! Well, I skimmed here and then went to look for my thread and couldn't find it. I thought it was hidden for some reason, then couldn't figure out how my rules were copied from a hidden thread. :-) I then found it in the locked log.
Carry on!
