Yes I would, because it would pay decent money. Truth.

Hire me, pay me well.  Take the photos, do what you want with them.  Don't even need to give me credit.

No... there are lots of things in the world that make good money but eat away at one's soul.  I'm not saying porn is inherently immoral as, say, drug dealing or money laundering or arms trading, but shooting that ain't why I went to college and it isn't something I want to explain to my kids when they ask what I shot today.

Ten years ago my answer would have been NO, today, well, it would depend on the type of shoot, if it paid well, and I felt comfortable enough shooting it.

i'd like to shoot some hardcore porn in ss11 couture wardrobe and see who was brave enough to place it.

FWIW, I'd not shoot soft / glam type porn or anything dorcel like - shooting it well is worse than shooting beauty and that's pain in the hole (heh pun) enough for me.

I have been making my living in professional photography  from the  1950's  If you wanted to look at different eras,  you would see different  levels of  PORN.  Did I say Porn.  Well it is what we called it, now  not then.  We called Playboy in the old buildings of Chicago  Porn in some people's minds  Porn..
I do not concentrate on this level  of  photos.    But  some years they sell,  other years,  they are  baned.   It seems that my work is close enough to the Mainstream  photography that  it does not fall into the  Porn Range  for that year.

Another thought:  In the  very early 50's  a friend and I shot some very good photos of  a  beautif upcomming movie star (not famious yet)  She became very famious,  and  ask that I not release any of those photos.   I would never go against that Promise..    She passed on in the 90's  and I miss her very much.

I love her too, Jayden is very pretty. I know a photographer that had a chance to shoot her TFP right before she got into the adult industry, he is still kicking himself for blowing her off.

On the topic, yes I would shoot porn, as long as the money is right, why not.

I had a model do some rather interesting things in front of my camera but as I like to say, "some people like to watch, some people like to do". I found the whole experience rather a turn off. Would I do it again? sure, get out your checkbook and smile.

I shot some web content yesterday, just one girl and some toys.  She was hilarious, and it was one of the most fun shoots I've had in a while.

I shot a few not-so hard photos too, a few of them are up in my port.

I would have no problem with shooting porn whatsoever. In fact, as long as it's on the up and up and not something that can get me thrown in jail, I'll shoot whatever you pay me to shoot.

If I were in this for the money, I'd go back to shooting weddings, it pays better than shooting porn from what I've heard.

Some prudish types would consider the fairly limited nude work that I do to be porn.

I enjoy looking at "Art Nudes" when done well, but it is not something I will do myself.

I am not really into the idea of porn. I love clothes, SHOES, hats, gloves, jewelry, leggings, purses and anything else fashion...

I am a material girl... I admidt it...

Fashion is my passion. I love to emote and get into character with the styling I am wearing. It is what makes it exciting for me...  Depending on how I am styled I am a new person - POOF! Thus I will continue to do what I personally enjoy until I no longer enjoy it.

I would shoot porn if there's no dudes involved. And really I'd just be interested in solo girls. And this is where having the right girl means so much. I think to enjoy doing something like this I'd have to be really attracted to the girl 'cause if I wasn't it would really show and affect the images in a bad way.

Wanting to do something for art production and the fun of doing it and wanting to do something just for a paycheck are different things. As I look back on my career and the concerns I had fresh out of college, there's a lot of things I wish I would have done back then that I was afraid to do fearing what others might think. I'm doing a lot of things now I should have been doing back then and as long as it's fun and I make a living doing it- I don't care how people judge me. I'd welcome a change from the usual beauty, glamour, pinup work people come to me for. I have been seriously  planning the past two months for splitting off some of my business under a different name and shoot girl solo porn. -Yay!

I would have no issue with softcore if a client wanted it.  I have no experience with shooting anything hardcore or have not shot male models in years so I would have to say no.  Unless I knew I could produce quality(ish) level work I would not shoot for publication.  I would also question anyone who would hire someone without experience.

I don't really see it as a moral issue for me, I am not "acting" in it and I really don't judge people by my own standards regarding personal decision like this.

I would DEFINITELY shoot porn. But I wouldn't shoot men and I don't really like vaginas at all.

I don't think I'd ever be in a porno, though. I guess because vaginas are ugly, and IDK...Just eh. I've thought about it a LOT and I think I'd enjoy it. But I don't know. I wouldn't ever shoot with another man, either. Ew. Not because I wanna be faithful to just one guy, but I can't have sex with random men. Nasty, in my opinion. The thought of it grosses me out.

LOL.  Amatuer porn all over the Internet with couples.  Doesn't have to be an alienating thing.  It's just that they all look the same... boring.

I would sooner solo, though.

But that would get boring, fast. Masturbate with a dildo one day, and a year later the only veggies left to try are watermelons, ya know?

I've never seen watermelons go there, but it surely would be a gimmick.  If you look at porn objectively, most everything has already been done/depicted on film.  Again, the credit goes to the one who does something unique.  Just like Deep Throat in 1972?, people have been doing blowjobs for thousands of years, but then comes along this low-budget skin flick funded by the mafia, and bam, now bjs are the way of sex.  If I ever made a porno, it would need to be this effective, sans mafia ties of course.

I thought about it from time to time. I know a lot of adult models and a few established porn performers and have worked with them on the glamour and artistic level.
I just haven't researched ways how to get my foot in the door.

I have no issues with family and friends, morals, religion, etc.
The money and experience would be nice and I would completely separate it from my regular photo passions for professional reasons and I wouldn't think it would affect negatively on my creativity in my art, in fact I think it will maybe take it to a different level if anything.

Why, are you looking for a willing photographer?  wink

I would not enjoy shooting b/g hardcore porn, but if I was very desperate and the money was exceptionally good, I would consider it on a one time basis to get me 'out of the hole'.

Sure, why not. Would be fun. But really, they'd have to pay me a lot. And I'd have to pick a really cool porn name :-) It's not going into my body of work, at all.

Just where do people get the idea that there is good money in shooting porn?

Most porn photographers get about $250 a day, and don't own the rights to their images. Many work for less.

Yes . . . there are a few that make a living at it, but those are the exceptions.

I wouldn't pursue it but if the right opportunity found me I would consider it.

If push came to shove I doubt I would though. My big dream is to work in the mainstream Sports/Fitness realm and I think I'd always worry that doing porn might turn off potential clients in the future.
